I have a Disney Scrapbook Kit (was cheaper than an individual book), and it *looks* like I might be able to add pages. Lord knows I need to! Would you all know if I can? It looks like it's bound with weird screws (best way I know how to describe). Here's the cover of the album:

Thanks in advance!

I'm sure you probably can. Where did you buy the album? Can you post a photo of the posts/screws in it?

OMG--that's such a cute album!! Is it 12 x 12 and does it have top loading pages? If so I "think" you just undo the screws and add the posts that come inside the packets of new pages. Clear as mud right.

I bought almost the same album. It can be expanded with posts- but if you add too many post extenders it becomes too wobbly. I had to switch to a different scrapbook because my Disney album was about 60- 2 page layouts and it wouldn't hold it all. I would say it could comfortably hold about 30- 2 page layouts. It depends on how many pics you have to scrap. :confused3 Hope this helps.

Yes, it's 12x12 & top loading pages. I just have no idea how to undo the screws. Guess I need to 'fiddle' with 'em.

About a million? You know how it is! I don't put much 3-D stuff on my pages, so that might help. Thanks for the info!

to unscrew the posts put your finger on the front part and use a screwdriver or a butter knife to unscrew the back piece.

When you buy refills they should come with post extenders.

Now the key is finding pages that match. Sometimes the protectors are thicker or the holes don't line up. Some albums have a refill stock number or you can buy by the brand. Like a pioneer album will have pioneer refills.

If you can't find refills just pull out the pages you have and buy as many refills as you need, this is the easiest way for them to match up.

Cute album BTW! I may pick those up for the kids albums for this last trip.

I never seem to be able to find extenders that fit the screws that the album came from, so I end up replacing the whole screw assembly thingys. I buy my replacements at Hobby Lobby, but any craft store should have them. The one thing to check is the spine. Is it paper or cloth and has room to expand? Some albums I have, have hard spines, and so you can't add more than 5 or so pages.

Looks like the spine is of flexible paper(ish?) material & not hard. Just the front & back covers are hard. I think I'll take the book with me to make sure the parts will fit.

BIG help! Thanks for the info! I was going for one of the plain black ones, but the store clerk told me this package was on sale (it comes with paper & stickers) for the price of a much simpler one!
