? about text on my paint shop pro

Why is the text i enter on a graphic underlined? I made sure the U button was not on....don't know what else to check as i'm new to this program.

It will be underlined until you enter it... i.e. complete it... at least on my PSP CS3 that is the way it is- If you change to a different function or save your design at that point the underline will disappear- it is just a guide- Good Luck & Merry Christmas!
