Does boarding for southeast work like southwest? Meaning do you get your boarding passes at the checkin, no preassigned seats...can you print out your boarding passes after midnight???

Thanks...

Nope...not like southwest....on southeast you are assigned your seat at counter checkin ( at least this was the process in Dec.)

Thanks for the response! So, will getting there early (2hrs?) be the best bet to get seats together?

We got there 2 hours early for our flight in Jan. and requested exit row seating together and got it. The way back from Sanford we weren't so lucky, but DH was still right in front of me, we did that to keep exit row seating - that time we got there about 1 hr. 15 min. before we left.

HTH:D

Thanks very much!

We are hoping to fly southeast in Feb--if their prices stay the same--$69 one way. My only real concern is flying into Sanford instead of MCO...not sure if it will be too "out of the way."

Those I know that have flown into Sanford say it wasn't too bad...like I stated we flew into St. Pete and it was about a 70min drive and I didn't feel like it was too bad..even with all the traffic on I-4

Thanks...now I just need to decide whether I want to get a rental car or just use a town car service....

Here's my new money saving and convience idea.

I now rent a van (we have 6 ppl) one way on both the beginning and end of the vacation... Like july I'm renting from Dollar from MCO to DTD for $45.00 for a 24hr period then before I leave I'm getting another one way rental for $41.00 for another 24hrs...so for $86.00 I have cars for 48hrs...get when we get there I can make a grocery run without pressure. Towncar would have cost a minimum of $120 with tip or a van rental was $325....

interesting idea! We don't really need a car for the entire trip...just the first two days and the last day...

worth looking into!

We used Southeast and flew into Sanford this past April. It took 20 minutes from the airport to the Boggy Creek Rd. Exit on the Greenway, which is where MCO is. The small size of Sanford airport made luggage retrival seem quick, so it almost made up for those 20 minutes. Will definately use Southeast again. Can't beat the price!

excellent news! We will be heading to Universal so....about how long ya think the drive is?
