? about Silver Springs

I always go to Orlando but my fiancee has never been there and I am taking him for the first time next month. I know this isn't exactly Disney related but I was wondering if anyone had been to Silver Springs and how they liked it? I was just looking for something different to do. TIA.

DH and I have been there twice in the last couple of years. We loved it! They have redone the entire park in the last 4 or 5 years and it is so much more than just the "Glass Bottom Boat" that they were known for (although they still have that & it is enjoyable). There is a jungle boat ride that visits a small area with a trainer who shows off an eagle and other wildlife, & sails past areas with lots of monkeys, limas, etc. There is another boat ride where you'll see lots of animals on the shore - zebras, gazelles, etc.

There is also a Jeep "jungle ride" past even more animals.

There are a couple of live nature shows in outdoor covered arenas.

Lots to see and do -- very enjoyable!
