? about resale process

Hi all,

I spot an OKW contract that I like when I get back from OKW on Feb 2. I got the documents emailed from the Timeshare store and mailed them back with a check. Then I got email from the title company and mailed it back today. I emailed my sales lady at the timeshare store asking when our contract will be submitted to DVC. She replied "Everything was submitted to Disney for Right of first refusal within a week of you purchasing. The title company will call you and let you know once they hear something from them."

Sounds like my contract is already at DVC for FROR? Did TSS do that or the title company?

We have purchased 2 resales from the TSS and from what I understand it is their closing comany not the sales part that submits the papers to Disney for ROFR. You can always call the 1877 number and ask when the paperwork was sent if you are type A like me..(exact date) so you have an idea of when to expect a reply. In the past I found out from this board that Disney reply's frequently on Monday and Friday's.
We are waiting for our 3rd contract and it has been 14 days (total not business) since it was submitted...The other times we knew in 10 to 14 total days.

We just bought a resale through The Timeshare Store and it was Jerry from there who informed me when things had gone to Disney. I don't know if he submits it or not but he surely knew when it had gone through. We found out on day 21 that we had passed ROFR. Hope you find out soon and you pass that phase!!!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I called the title company and found out that mine was submitted to DVC on Feburary 10. Hopefully, I will hear from them soon.
