Ok, if I were to rent points is it really just (insert amount her) per point or are there a few other cost as well?

See we are renting points from a family member and they said there's go at about $7 a point, so if we got a villa (studio) @ beach club say for four nights Sun-Thurs, it would total something like 48points (going in Oct) would it really only cost around $400?

Yes if they say 7.00 pp then thats all you would pay.

Dang,7.00 pp is Awesome.Tell them if they want to rent anymore out to let me know,LOL.I cant believe they are letting them go so cheap. The going price pp is 9.00-12.00pp.So you are getting an Awesome deal.

Got to love the in-laws lol
I guess the shocking thing is last year we spent $1300 for a water view room at Yacht club for 3 nights. (the view was awesome by the way)

Another question-

There home resort is BCV does it cost more points say if we want to stay at Boarwalk?

They sre giving you a deal because they are a family member. The usual renting price per point is around $10.00 per point or more. There are not any other fees such as sales tax or room charges. Just what you would incur at the ersort in any room service charges or the usual stuff. There are not any additional charges for the rentee charged by the renter that I can think of.

Yes, you just pay the per price cost. There is no additional fees or taxes when using points. Great deal!!

But at $480 for 4 nights (vs $1300 for 3), who cares what the view may be, right? Plus the room at the BCV has a microwave, undercounter frig, toaster & a coffeemaker!

No - in fact if there are standard views available, it would even be less. However, your in-laws cannot make a reservation at the BWV until 7 months prior to the arrival date. They can make the BCV reservation as early as 11 months prior to the arrival date.

Rooms at the EPCOT area resorts go pretty fast in October, November and December, so don't wait to long to accept that very generous offer!

Best wishes -

Wow! $7/pt. What a deal! ::yes:: I would have liked to have that deal when I rented, before I became a member!
