? about Pixie Dust 'Do for Moms!

Hello everyone! I did a search and found that women can get haircuts at the Harmony Barbershop on Main Street. I also saw adorable pics of kids with colored gel and glitter Mickeys in their hair.

My question is...have you seen any adults with pixie-dusted 'dos? I am thinking about getting one along with my two DDs (who don't want to do it without me). I don't mind looking silly...but they want to get it done the morning of our lunch at CRT, and with the picture package there...well, I'm a little hesitant to look silly in pictures from the Castle.

Should we wait till the next day to do it? Would it just look silly on a 35-year-old mom? No offense to anyone who's done this - I think it's really cute, but I'd love to hear opinions!

FYI, both my and my daughters' hair is mid-back length, and my older daughter's hair reaches her lower back! So I don't even know if it would be feasible to do.

No kids of my own yet but my first is on its way however I always travel to WDW with my little sister whose 12. She's been getting pixie hair for about 4 years now and has mid-back length hair. Depending on who is working that day they do different hairstyles with her but most tend to be a teased ponytail of some kind with hairspray,gel and pixiedust. She loves it.

My last trip in August my DH also went and got his hair done too. He had a trim and then they put the red gel in it and lots of pixie dust. He loved it and got lots of comments all day. The pictures from that day are really cute and you can really see his color.

If you don't mind the look then I say go for it. The only thing we've noticed over the years is that my sister head tends to start itching later in the day from all the product in it. Also the barbershop is first come first serve so at times the line can get long so you may have to wait.

Thank you for the info, Jenny! The teased ponytail sounds cute. And I wish my DH would get gel in his hair...he gets embarrassed easily though and wouldn't like the extra attention.

Has anyone else gotten the pixie dust 'do?
