? about one time use points and holding points

We currently have 28 points in holding that we have to use by March 31. Will I be able to purchase one time use points if we need to?

We recently closed on the sale of one of our contracts but it hasn't been removed from our account yet. Will MS ask why I'm not using points from
that contract or will it not be an issue?

I just did this. I cancelled my January reservation (I had borrowed these points) a few days before we were set to leave and they went into holding. I had to use them before end of March 31st (I have April UY). I rebooked for middle of March and bought 6 points to complete a 7 night stay since I did not want to borrow.

Do you think the fact that we have (not really) that other contract on our account will come into play?

Will I be able to book a stay online or will I have to call? We can only use the points from the one contract we still own.

We closed last week but I don't know how long it takes DVC to remove the sold contract from our account.
