???? about MNSSHP tickets.....Do you add them to magic bands?

We did the MVMCP last Nov. and I think I recall that the tickets were attached to each of our Magic Bands. I also recall printing off the tickets when I purchased them. Am I correct or did I dream this? LOL

If I buy my son and his gf these party tickets can I attach them to their magic bands if he has his own MDE account? I can get a DVC discount the night they are going and so I thought I would get these for them. I don't have to be present do I to activate? TIA

DVC's policy is that the discount is for the member and up to 5 guests. So technically, the member is supposed to attend the party on the night they purchase tickets for.

Nothing is on the bands. The bands are just a link to your MDE account. While you can transfer the party tickets to your son & his girlfriend, it would be easier to just give them the plastic tickets to take with them. You do not need to be present.

We are going to the party but not until Thursday. He and his gf are arriving before us so they would be attending the Sunday night party.

It is only a 3 buck discount LOL I guess they can just pay the extra so there is no hassle.

If you attach them to his MDE account they can schedule FP+ for between 4:00 and 6:30 PM (no FP after 6:30 on party nights), assuming they are not using other park tickets with FP+ on that same date.
