I have a current ressie now- I tried to switch resorts but couldn't use my current code so I didn't switch. If a new code comes out and it is available at the resort I would rather switch to, do I have to rebook or can they change my current ressie? I really don't want to have to pay the initial deposit again and wait for a refund on my current ressie for what I have already paid. Can they transfer between resorts?

If the only thing you are doing is changing the resort (dates, etc. stay the same) then you should be fine.

If you change dates, then they typically charge you a new deposit and refund the old (that is what happened to me). Although, I didn't ask about it since I wasn't getting the entire deposit back because I had insurance and it didn't transfer because of the date change.
