About how long are lines for ToT at MGM?

The last time I was there I remember the line being about 30 minutes long. Is this still the case or has it gotten longer. Also, what about the new Aerosmith roller coaster? We'd be going to MGM most likely on a Monday.

Because when people say lines are too long, they rush to get a fast pass or go to EMH just to get on these rides, I'm thinking the line must be like 2 hours long or something.

Well, I'm sure it probably depends a lot upon the time of year, but we've been twice in February...last year the longest I saw the line was 20 minutes, and usually it was only 10 minutes or so (I was there three different days that trip). This year I was there two days and the line was anywhere from 20-40 minutes long. I used FastPass.

It depends on when you go. We went in late September and early December last year. Both times lines for both TOT and RnRC were in the 0-10 minute range. There were times when it was a walkon and times when the wait was maybe 10 minutes max.

I would imagine lines can easily get up to 2 hours during Spring break/Easter, summer, and Christmas, but I don't go during those times so I can't be certain, that's just what I've read.

We went last May and during the afternoon you could see waits of over an hour. But for evening EMH it was walk on, especially later on in the night.

We went in July of last year and the ride kept having problems :scared1: and the wait was over the 1 hour mark even for us fast pass people. Just hope that does not happen to you. :) The regular wait in july with out a fast pass and no problems was 90 minutes :sad2:

When we have gone in June, the lines for TOT or Rock and Roller coaster were well over an hour long-we always grab fast passes for these rides. When we went in May-I think the longest was about 30 minutes.

Thanks.. we are going in May as well. According to some of the guides and websites, the time in May we are going has a light crowd. So hopefully, the line won't be that bad. Or we can use fastpass... but we plan to go to MGM the first day we are there which means getting to the park around 2 *gasp* so wil there still be FastPasses left?

No MGM late evening hours while we are there :( But maybe we can get on it in the evening - I think Tot sounds scarier in the dark!

We went last May, the line for both RnR and ToT were over an hour - so we grabbed a fastpass at one and got in line for the other... by the time we were done with one, it was just about time for our fast pass. Since both rides are right there together, this is what we always do. If we finish a bit early for our fastpass, we grab a snack or walk through the shops =)
