My daughter wants to be able to go to Typhoon Lagoon when we come to WDW. We would only go there once during our trip. If we bought 5 day tickets would they all have to be hopper tickets or could one day just be a hopper ticket. I hope that this makes sense! Thanks!

The water parks are a "separate" ticket option that you can add to your tickets. Having a base MYW ticket or a hopper will not get you into a water park. You either need to buy a single day ticket or invest in the water parks and more option.

1st.. we always buy hopper tickets. Hopper tickets are only for hopping between the 4 theme parks.
2nd.. as previous poster mentioned in order to go to a water park you need to purchase the "water parks n'more" option. That is for waterparks and Disneyquest.

If you are purchasing the hopper ticket, to upgrade to water parks n'more with park hopping I think it runs @ $58 per person and it will give you 4 admissions to water parks/disney quest. Although, if you did not get the tickets that do not expire then they will be no good after 14 days.

The prices for a day pass for water park are: adult $34, child $29

*these prices are from ticketmania.com we've purchased quite a bit from them, and disney is supposed to go up on their passes Tomorrow (Sunday) so you may want to order today :-)

:thumbsup2

If you only plan on doing water park once, it might be better just to purchase a single day ticket. It'll save you a few dollars per person.

Is this what you all are saying.. if we planned on being at WDW for five days and only wanted to go to Typhoon Lagoon once we would be better off just getting 4 day park hopper tickets (to hop bettween the 4 main parks for 4 days) and just "adding" on a one day visit to TL for x price?? Thanks so much to you all already! Also we would not need the non expire thingy.

You can't add only one day of a water park to your hoppers (or base ticket for that matter). If you're only interested in going for one day, you need to buy a separate 1 day admission to the water park (i.e. going to the water park gate and buying your ticket there).

Choice:

$36.21 to visit the water park, per person - only ONE visit.

~$50 to add the FUN package, adding multiple visits you can use at the waterparks, DQ or PI.

If you're only going one place, just buy the spare ticket. However if you plan on going twice, or to two places - get the FUN & More package.
