? About going to parks without ARs

Our family is going to Orlando in late June/early July because our daughter is playing in a basketball tournament at WWS. Because her schedule will be based on their win-loss record, we'll be going to the parks in between games. Therefore, we can't book any ARs. How hard will it be during late June to get in a sitdown restaurant without ARs? We don't have to do character meals (done those many times) but would like to go to Tony's or Momma Melrosas. I've never gone to the parks without ARs (previously PSs) so I'm really worried. Any suggestions?! We'll be staying offsite.

Hi Julie,

It will be hard, that's a VERY busy time of year.

I suggest you make a few ARs now...you can always cancel them as you find out the times of the games. But you will definitely have a hard time getting into popular restaurants at peak dining times during the time you will be there without an AR.

Totally agree. You will not get in without advanced ressies during that time of year. We go then and I make each one right at the 60-90 day window when they come available.
You could probably go offsite to some eateries.

I think it'll be near impossible, honestly, the hotels are BOOKED with the new dining plan offer and such, table service will be hard to come by. Making ARs is free and easily changed or canceled - I would make them based on your best guess, maybe even for a few of your days (same restaurant a couple days of your trip), and cancel if you realize you won't be able to make it, or call and see if you can get a later time.

If that doesn't work well, you could eat offsite for table service =)
