My oldest DD will be spending the weekend at my friends house while me, DH and DD #2 and #3 go to VB.

My friend will take DD #1 back to VB on Sunday and join us for breakfast. She will have her DD with her also.

My question (and I am prepared to get blasted!!! LOL) is: Can the girls go for a swim after breakfast and enjoy the pool for a few hours before we leave???? We only booked a studio so in essence, over the limit (not for sleeping but for wear and tear on property!).

I don't want to get kicked out of the pool area and get embarrassed. What are your opinions? I am asking so I can avoid any embarassment while at VB!!!

I have no intentions of this turning into a debate!!! If it appears to be going in that direction, I am hoping the thread will be closed!!

Here goes............

Thanks

I think this can be arranged. You are usually permitted to have one or two guests visit at a hotel without a problem. However, they do keep pretty tight pool security at Vero (too easy for folks to come in from the restaurants or the beach). They ask to see room keys to even order at the snack bar. I think I would tell the front desk what you would like to do and see what they say. I'm pretty sure they'll say no problem but they may need to issue some ID for your guests.

I also agree, I'm quite certain you can have a day visitor while you're a guest at the resort, I'd be very surprised to hear otherwise... It's not like you're inviting a family of six or seven...

I agree. I believe it should be okay to have a guest visit your "home".

I would NOT like uninvited guests to be crashing the pool though.

It should not be an issue as long as the total people are not over the occupancy limit for the unit. Even if you are, I doubt you will have any problems.

I'm sure you could call VB now and explain the situation and see what their reaction is. I'm not sure I'd give my name & date of stay until I got a positive response though <grin>!

I believe it is reasonable to expect to have a guest or two visit while we're at "home" and I'd think the resort would see it as positive advertising.

Let us know what you find out!
