I hope this is in the right place! We have a bunch of fresh broccoli from our garden, and I'd like to freeze it before it goes bad. There is just no way we can use it all now. How do I do this? A co-worker suggested to boil it to get any unwanteds off from it, but for how long?

Thanks for any help!

I think the process is called blanching. First plunging the veggie into Boiling water and then icy cold. Yes, you do have to do that to broccoli to get rid of "unwanteds" (what a nice word!).
