? about Florida weather

Our plan is to stay in Disney from May 18th-25th and then meet my parents in Daytona for 4 days. We are having some issues w/ these dates now and I don't want my kids missing too many days of school. Staying on the beach a few extra days at the end of May is fine b/c my kids have a few days off from school that week. We are thinking about switching our Disney trip to March 26th-April 2nd and then going to Daytona thru April 7th. This way they still won't miss more then 5 days b/c it goes into spring break. I'm curious how hot it will be at the end of March and early April? How cool are the nights? And has anyone been to Daytona that time of year, we want it hot while we are on the beach. I also don't want it too cold to swim at Disney...Thanks

Late March and early April are traditionally still on the cool side for FL (think 60's and 70's with nights in the 50's). You may get temps in the 80's though - always an option in FL truth be told. The pools at Disney are heated so that is not a worry. The ocean in April is still very cool.

yep about right BUT walking at Disney with slightly cooler days is wonderfull! u would be fine with shorts during day then maybe capris at night and bring a sweatshirt! is before the rains usually start so you can expect dry days! as far as beach we go ALL the time this time of yr becasue its soo nice ti enjoy without scorching! yes the water will be chilly but its also refreshing!! and to be hoest swimming in Datona is NOT very safe as they do ( as all of ocean water ) SHARKS! and yes I have seen more than one at differnt locations in FL so I dont really allow my kids to swim they play in sand and i hunt for shells!
