? about Fish'n'Chips!

The CS fish&chips are very good and well worth the price. You don't get as much as the dinner in the Rose&Crown, but it's a good amount.

We enjoyed Harry Ramsdens Fish & Chips in the UK Cs on our last visit. We found the fish to be light and flaky and the chips good.
Over the years this issue has gotten the exact same reviews it has now. Some found it to be tasty, hot and fresh and others have said it was greasy and gross. I don't know if it is an issue of the oil and the state it is on or not. I was skeptical, but pleasantly surprised.
Have a Great Trip

Hello all! We've never had fish & chips before: are we gonna like it?? Do you get anything on the side (dips, veggies, etc.)? Also, I know there is a stand that is CS in England, do they also serve the same fish and chips at the TS restaurant in England?
Thank you!

If you want fish and chips go to Raglan Road. The fish and chips in EPCOT is disgusting.

I LOVED the fish and chips at rose and crown when we went...but youve gotta like fried food

 This subject always gives me a laugh. The fish served at the UK pavilion is meant to be cod, but might be grouper which is kinda like the US equivalent. :upsidedow

Cod seems to be the preferred "chippy shop" fish in England and as the Epcot stand is called the Yorkshire something or other, it's based on what is served in English fish and chip shops. ;)

I'm Scottish and come from a major fishing town - our "chippies" sell haddock and lemon sole - no cod to be found on our menus! :snooty:

All joking aside, I'd probably go to Cooke's in DTD for fish and chips as I've always heard good things about there. :thumbsup2

Not sure about the TS restaurant, but they do serve it at the ABC Commissary at DHS. They are really good, and there is tartar, ketchup, etc.
