? about Figaro Fries

When we ordered these last week, we were expecting fries with cheese, lettuce, tomato, bacon, etc. We got fries with cheese and bacon. When I asked about lettuce and tomato, she looked at me like I was crazy. So am I crazy or confused? Did I get a bad CM? I was really looking forward to these, but I didn't like them at all.

More guests were ordering them without the lettuce and tomato so the fries were changed.

This is a case where there will be a ton of people posting they want the original version back. But I will go on the record as saying that I am very glad for this change. I love lettuce, I love tomato, but I do not like them on fries. It's like a fry salad. No thank you very much.

Don't blame the CM - the CMs rarely stay at the same restaurant for very long so she probably came after the big change.

We asked a CM at Pinocchio's last week. She said they have been changed and that you can ask for lettuce and tomato to be added to yours, but they do not have the ranch dressing anymore. She also said that there is ranch dressing available, but it is low-fat or non-fat and might not be as tasty as the previous Figaro Fries. I'm so dissapointed. I only just found this delicious treat a couple visits ago and now they're gone!

Another case of trying to make us eat healthier (ie lowfat ranch dressing), however, they are FRIES after all, already delicious and not low fat!!! Why can't they just leave it alone? We are on vacation, after all, let us eat well and eat often and eat delicious!! But, no, they have to dictate to us that lowfat is better.

From my understanding, you can get cheese fries at Cosmic Rays, and then via the toppings bar, more or less make them there. I'm gonna try that because I have never had these before and really wanted to try them.

It's that processed cheese sauce, kinda like nacho cheese sans the spicy heat. Very bad for you, but VERY good...

You get (got?) them from Pinochio's Village Haus. Yes, the lettuce and tomato were chopped up in smaller pieces, as is the bacon. Quite yummy.

I actually prefer lowfat ranch rather than regular. I think it tastes better
