? About Ebates...

I would like to start using ebates, but I am a little confused. When I type in the store I would like to shop at there is the area where you click on to shop, but further down the page it lists certain items. Am I only allowed to shop for those items only or can I shop there entire site? The store is The walking company if someone wants to see what I am talking about. Any info would be appreciated. I have been a member at ebates for about 3 years with no issues whatsoever. I have always fully shopped the website I get routed to and an email comes from ebates when cash back is credited to my account. I have even had situations where I am shopping, put items in a store cart then remember my ebates account. Then I minimize original order page (jsut in case the order gets lost), login to ebates, route to that same online store and find my cart is still holding my items. Have fun shopping!

Well I just made my first purchase, is it suppose to show pending? How do I know for sure? Or did I do something stupid?

In my experience, it usually shows up in pending after the item has shipped, could be up to a week. Mine average around 4 days.

If you have an issue with crediting, check to make sure your browser is set to accept cookies.

I didn't look at the merchant, but alot of times the things listed below are just ads or specials...something to say, "Hey, come shop here!" You'd have to read any fine print...like 4% back only good on shoes. But in most cases you can shop the whole store.

I never have any problems. It usually takes 4-7 days my transactions to show up.

Thank You all for the help, I believe I have found a new friend with this site. I actually ended up using it for booking a hotel room.Jo
