? about discount codes . . .

We are planning to go in early Feb. for music days. (my daughter is dancing) We will be doing our fist package with dining. Now, my question, is it possible to get a discount code and apply it after you have already booked? Do they normally have a code for early February? Where would the code come from? My Disney Visa? In the mail? Email?

Yes, it is possible to change to a code rate after you have already booked. However, if a discount comes out, it does not automatically mean that you will be able to get it. There is a limited number of rooms at each resort that you would be able to book at a discount, and if the resort you are already booked at does not have any discounted rooms available, then you would have to keep your existing rate. So, if you are booking your resort knowing that you will stay there even if you don't get a discount, then go ahead and book ahead of time.

There should be discounts released for that time of year, and they usually (but not always) are available to the general public (rather than just AP holders). There are discounts that come out for Disney Visa cardholders from time to time, but usually a couple of days later those discounts are made available to the general public anyway.

Thanks! I feel like such a "newbie" and we've done Disney 8-10 times in the past 14 years! These boards are a wealth of information!!!

We will be staying at ASM because that's where our dance group will be staying when they come in at the end of the week Now, I just have to wait on Disney to assign us our weekend! I hope they do it soon so I can make my adr's at the 180 day mark!
