This is the first time I'll be taking a digital camera to the parks. Is there a place at any of the parks where I can dump my pictures from my camera to a CD? I do this all the time at stores at home and wanted to know if Disney was offering this service yet. I just dump my pictures on a CD and then delete them from my camera. That way, I don't have to have multiple camera disks. I thought maybe since you could buy film in the parks, they might have digital camera services now.
Thanks!

They do offer this but it is in limited spots and much more than I am used to paying. 2 trips ago, the machine was down in Epcot.

Personally, I would just watch for a sale (we bought no cards a128MB at Target for $7.98). It is much easier.

You can also do this at the Exposition Hall in the MK. Building to the right as you walk into the park. This is also where you go to get your pictures that CM's take of you through out the park. I have never used this machine there but I was in MK last week, waiting to get my pictures from CM's and there was at least 3 or 4 people on line. I would also suggest getting an extra memory card.

Here is info about Digital processing that i culled from Deb's Website about 2 months ago . From the previous post it looks like Disney has added at least 1 more Digital Processing place. Hope this helps

There are two locations to have your digital pictures transferred from memory cards/sticks to disk. The shop in the Kodak-sponsored Journey Into Imagination Pavilion features a full-service photographic lab. Transferring up to 120 images to a disk costs $11.99 plus tax, and $5.99 plus tax for up to 120 additional images. Prints are $.69 each. (Prices subject to change.) You may also drop off your digital media for transfer at The Darkroom on Hollywood Boulevard at Disney-MGM Studios. The cards are sent to the lab at the Imagination Pavilion for transfer, and must be in by 12:00 noon. They are returned at 5:00 pm. Transfer only takes two hours if you go directly to the lab in Imagination.

Wow, this is alot more expensive than my local CVS (120 pictures for $2.99). I would highly recommend another memory card. There are also plenty of CVS's and Walgreens off property that you can do this at. The problem I always run into is my camera says "Memory Card Full" and I am no where near a place to download pictures and I need to go into my pictures and delete some that I know I don't want.

That info from AllEarsNet is a little out of date. The photo lab in Imagination no longer does photo downloads.

As of January 2, 2005, the camera shops in the 4 WDW theme parks no longer offer 1-hour film processing. Instead, they offer download services. A CD costs $11.95 plus tax and is limited to 120 pics per CD. The machines are located behind the scenes at all the parks except MK, where there are 2 self-service machines. In the other parks, just ask a CM in the camera shops.

If you have transportation, any of the Walgreens stores in the WDW area also do photo downloads to CD; cost here is only $3.99 per CD for as many pics as the CD will hold.

Thanks for the update Will , I am cutting and pasting the new info into my WDW cheat sheets for the vacation this June

The photo places at the parks couldn't download to a CD from my memory stick duo--one of the few they can't process.
