? about Crystal Light Packets

I did not know that WM made one so I will stock up on that. I like then in the 20 oz bottles as I find it too storng with smaller bottles. A note though...I got a raincheck at Price Chopper when they were on sale for 1.86 a box and kept trying to get them. I finally stopped at the front desk Thursday and they told me they were discontinued??? She allowed me to buy the 10 packs for 1.86 each. I am going to dump my bottles of water in pitcher add a tub and mix then refill bottles, lol :rotfl: . I hope she made a mistake saying they were discontinued, my body has never been so healthy and had so much water, I am up to between 50 and 60 ounces a day! :goodvibes

Target also has their own version of Crystal Light.. my location only had the peach tea left (sold out of lemonade). YUM! 10 packets in box for under $2.

I usually avoid walmart like the plague but might pop in to pick up their packets. I keep looking at Sam's Club but they only carry the large tubs.
I know Crystal Light makes a box that holds more packets (we had it as donation from a local grocery chain for a soldier support box) but have not found it for sale in stores yet.

Just got back from Walmart. They only had Lemonade left in both CL and WM brands. The other flavors for the on-the-go packets were sold out. I did buy regular powder mix in Rasberry Ice and Strawberry. If I like them, I know to buy the packets when they get another shipment in.

Can't wait to try them.,..

We like the CL and WM brand equally well, with the price difference the WM brand is what we buy. Even our kids really like this, will be packing these for our Disney trip.
Our wallmarts have been doing a great job of keeping this in stock, our fav is the sunrise, reminds me of Tang. We like the flavor/strength in the 20oz water.

Our Sam's has the travel packs of crystal light in a huge container, sorry didn't look at the price but they were on the second shelf in the koolaid/juice aisle.

WOW, I just tried the Raspberry Ice. I'm normally a Lemonade person but this Raspberry is good...... DD loves it as well.

Now I really can't wait till the packets come in. My next trial flavor is Strawberry. Hope it's just as good.

Ok, finally tried the strawberry today. Boy, this stuff is really good. I think I'll be buying WM brand for the fridge as well. DD (age 5) normally drinks the flavored water but this would be way cheaper to buy. A can that makes 12 qrts for 1.97 vs about $5-$6 for flavored water to equal 12 qrts.

Would this be ok for kids? The flavored water is no calories, no sugar and so is the WM powder but it does have Nutrasweet or whatever. I just don't want anymore cavities for her. She only had 1 but once I found she liked the flavored water I totally switched so I didn't take any chances.

How many of you let your children drink this on a regular basis?

Thanks to everyone who posted. I bought the packets today in Raspberry & Orange at another Walmart. I did pick up Grape, Fruit Punch and some other flavors to keep in fridge.

Wish they would make these flavors in the packets...Has anyone seen on-the-go packets of Grape or Fruit Punch?

Just wanted to let you all know that lipton has also started making these. They have iced tea with lemon, green tea with honey and lemon, and mandarin mango green tea.

tricia.

My Wal-Mart had the fruit punch flavor in the packets.

Geez a pack of 14 of the CL sell for 4.99 in NJ
They were on sale for 2.99 and I bought a ton
Havent tried them yet but I know I will use ALL 20 oz for my packet since CL in general is always too strong for me

I've only tried Rasberry so far and it's actually pretty good

I let my dd drink this a few times a week. She likes it when she has her baton practice (3x a week) and at competitions (about 1x per month)

In fact, I took a couple to jer competition on Saturday, and all the girls on her team thought it was SO cool. They made me promise to bring some for all of them at the next contest!

I like them myself, because I only like really cold soda and water. But, I can add the powder in a bottle of room temperature water.

If anyone is interested, 4C makes the individual packets in different flavors also. It is made with splenda which I prefer. The raspberry is very good, have not tried the other flavors yet. $3.99 for 20.

4C is the brand. They also make bread crumbs, how they got into making raspberry tea who knows
They have a website with their products, www.4c.com.

Good Day -

I just found these this past weekend at Sam's Club. They only had the CL in lemonade, but a pack of 60 was about $12. I also think they were for a 20oz bottle.

I mixed mine with some vodka and it was yummy! I'm bringing a bunch on my next Cruise and this will be my "home made" drink of the day.

:sunny: K

We had these and they were great!

Thanks,

I checked out their website and they private label for a store we have in town.

I have sent them an e-mail to see if our store uses their tea.
