? about cruise on points

We will be cruising this summer, 7nights to Tortola, and booked on points. I realize not the best value for my points, but nevertheless we are cruising on points. Has anyone ever upgraded at the port when cruising on points? Thanks for any help.

but chose not to. We asked about upgrades at the port. We had a Category 4 booked and could have upgraded to a Category 3 in the aft of the ship but chose not to because it was a handicapped accessible without a tub. Since we had a 2 year old who does not do well with showers, we chose to just keep our 4. But, they gave us a $$ quote and all - never a question about us being on points.

We were asked if we wanted an upgrade in March. We also chose not to take the upgrade. I love the inside state rooms for the darkness.
