? about changing SW reservation

Have flown SW once before but it was a very last minute reservation. Have a flight reserved in June. We are booked for an afternoon direct flight but I think we want to change to the early am direct flight. We would keep our return flight the same. How easy it it to change one way? Can anyone tell me how to do it? Quick and easy version? Price should be the same.

You just need to pull up your reservation by selecting flight where it says FLIGHT/HOTEL/CAR at the top of the home screen and then entering your name and reservation #. Then select change and when it brings up the detailed information about your flight, select the flight that you want to change. It will ask you for the date which you enter then it will bring up the flights available. Select the one that you want and on the next screen it will tell you if there is an additional fee due or a refund. It's pretty easy once you do it as it will kind of walk you through the steps.

Thanks! I went through it when I got home last night and when my husband realized that the early flight leaves at 5:25 am.....and we have a 2 hour drive to the airport.....he vetoed the change. DD 19 wants to change to maximize FL time....husband says we will start the trip exhausted....I'm stuck in the middle. Current reservations get us to Orlando at 6:30 pm.

What we did once when we had a very early flight was get a hotel near the airport that had a stay/park/fly package. The hotel way only about $100 a night but we could leave our car parked there for the entire week, which was cheaper than parking at the airport. They had a free shuttle to the airport. It wasn't any 4-star hotel, but we got there late the night before and basically got up at 5:00, grabbed bagels at their free breakfast buffet, and caught the shuttle.
