How do you actually get these deals - I don't understand - what is Black Friday at wal-mart?

Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving, when all of the stores have their big sales.

SO that list contains sale items at Wal-mart - how do I know if my local store is selling these items? Don't mind me - I am an amateur at this

I'm hoping that Walmart ad is right. Last year the ads were pretty much right on the nose. I really want that portable DVD player for DS. I almost bought the one on sale at Toys r us this week. However, this one is cheaper and w/ a bigger LCD screen.
Can't wait to see Target and Toys r Us ad.

Yes, it includes your local store.

Disney Store will be giving out flyers soon and also will run an ad this year for Black Friday. Many stores, if not all, will open at 5am, with special deals 5-10am Friday, plus that flyer will have coupons for Sat and sunday. The BEST deal will be to shop Friday from 5-10am, an extra 20% off (excluding gift cards, DVDs, gift cards)

Wow! What a great site! I've passed it on to my non-DIS friends.

I have hit the stores at 5am for the last 3 years, but this year we will be at WDW! I thought about getting up and going to the Orlando stores, but....
