? About AP and renewal...sorry if this is a stupid

question. I know that you get 100 dollars off of the AP price if you are a dvc member, now , how much is it to renew it the following year? Do you need to purchase it all over again? We are planning on going in December and will probably visit the parks 3 or 4 days.... planning on going again in January/February of 2007 , again 3 or 4 days... Would it be wiser to purchase a 10 park hopper with no expiration or a AP?

It is not a stupid question at all.

Annual passes are good for one year plus one day. So if an AP is activated on 12/30/05 it can be used through 12/30/06.

You would not be able to use it in late Jan/ Feb of 07.

The renewal is $75. If you will be needing passes for 6-8 days, the MYW (with parkhopping and no expire options) may serve you best for your current plans. If you would be going back again 2007, you might want to rethink the AP. The AP would also allow you purchase the DDE card for 20% discounts on meals at most WDW restaurants- but the driving issue for me is th enumber of days you would need admission during the next 12 months. If it's only 3-4 days, MYW would be much less costly.

Be sure to do the math and compare what you really need.
