Hi,
I'm brand new to this site and am so glad I found it! We love Disneyland! :) My question is this: we bought So. Cal. Annual Passports last year when we lived there. Since then, we have moved out of state, but our passports have not expired. We would love to plan a trip back for Halloween but are unsure if we can still use our AP. I looked on Disney's site under the terms for being a So. Cal. AP holder and I cannot find anything that addresses this. I'm thinking that since it's not in the terms and conditions then our passports should still be valid??? Does anyone know? I can't find a phone number on their site to call regarding this either. Only phone numbers for dining reservations, hotel, etc.
TIA for any help! :)

I would think they should work. DLR doesn't know you moved and they do not check id's at the gate. As long as the picture on your AP matches you it should be no problem :goodvibes

I agree! once you've bought and paid for it, the only thing they check at the gate is that it's still valid and that the photo matches the person trying to use it (and not even that sometimes ;) )

Have fun during Halloween time and welcome to the boards :goodvibes

Thanks for your responses! I'm still curious though, if they do ask for our photo ID's and see they're out of state will that invalidate our passports? I just want to know just in case they do ask. Any suggestions on how I can find out for sure? Anyone have a phone number I can call to ask? Thanks so much!

I am not sure why they would ask for your photo id? You will just show your AP and walk in. :goodvibes

Paranoid I guess! I just don't want to run into a problem and end up paying a ton of money (again) if for some reason our annual passports are no longer valid. :) It would just affect our vacation budget, kwim?

Thanks!

You should be fine, they never once asked for my ID when I used my APs and we did many trips with them. :) the only time they double checked was when I accidentally gave DD my AP to use to get in and I had hers, since I didn't look like I was 9 they called me back...LOL I just laughed and told DD to show her my AP and the CM laughed and we had no problems. :)

I understand what you are saying, I am also one to budget for absolutely everything down to the penny. I really don't think you need to worry about it though. The CMs will scan your pass and you will be on your way. :thumbsup2
