My DS then 9 had a seizure at our sitters. That whole week he went downhill and I could not stand it. My sister could not understand anything I was going through, but I knew someone here might.
I posted that I could not go to the hospital when he was so sick and was waiting for my DH to call.
Well, at the end of January, we went back to Childrens hospital, and Sean was given a clean bill of health. He had three episodes (1 seizure, 2 pass outs) total and nothing since.
We are to continue to monitor him, but the doctor thinks it may have been medication we had given him for a cold. Sean was also in Lacrosse at the time and it was cold and nasty out. He was fighting off some sort of cold or sinus infection and his little body could not take it.
Thankfully everything has turned out well for him.

I just wanted to thank everyone that kept him in their thoughts and prayers at that time. It meant so much to me.

I am so glad that everything turned out well for Sean......it is so scary when these type of things happen to our children without any reason that we know of.

Glad he is seizure free....and that we could help. :)

Awww, I'm so glad he's okay. I know how scary it is to see your child have a seizure. I have a 12yo who has them regularly and I never get used to it. On a positive note, my oldest DS21 had a gran mal seizure in his senior year of high school--threw him right out of his desk, scared all the girls, 911, etc. After all the uproar everything came back normal. It's been 4 years and never happened since.

Hope you have northing but good news in the future.

Hi Lisa :wave2:
I am so glad that he hasn't had anymore problems. What a wonderful answered prayer. :) I know you are very thankful. Thanks for giving us an update. :goodvibes
