Does anyone shop there for their DD's? DD (9) is basically a gap girl...she is very slim and Gap clothes are the only ones that fit reliably. When I look at the size charts it seems that the jeans should be much longer than Gap, compairing size 10 Slim. There are some cute T's and a pair of shorts that she likes but since I am Germany, I am curious of the quality and fit?? Anyone out there that shops both Gap Kids and Abercrombie kids?

My dd (11) wears A&F. I haven't bought her the jeans yet, but, she gets her t'shirts and hoodies there. The sizes run extremely small, so I get her either the medium or sometimes large in the adult section. She's regular built and the size of an average 11 yr. old. In Gap or Old Navy she would wear a size 12 in jeans and a medium in their shirts. I did get her the A&F skirt in an xs adult. It fits her fine and its big enough to still fit her this spring/summer. The xs adult skirt is long enough that her rear end doesn't show at all and she wears it with leggins now. The quality is pretty good as I find she outgrows the clothes before they aren't good to wear anymore. As a matter of fact, all her A&F clothes go to donations rather then throwing them away, so between her and whoever gets them, I get my monies worth for them. I know A&F can be expensive, but, the clothes wear like iron and are worth the $$$ to us.

I buy my son and both my older nephews Abercrombie. The clothes last sooooo long and they fit my son better. He has his own and the hand me downs from the pephews. It actually saves me money. I usually buy stuff that's on sale. When DS was younger, gap kids sale rack was routine for shirts and shorts.

eta: I do not support Abercrombie's downgrading slogans on young women's shirts and I've told them as much.

I'm 19 years old and I shop at Abercrombie Kids. :lmao: Keep in mind I'm 5'3" and only weight about 108 pounds.

I like the store very much, when things are on sale. They sell basically the same stuff as in the adult store but cheaper, so I figure why not? (although things are still expensive.)

My DD (14) will occasionally get things at Abercrombie (kids). She weighs about 100 lbs and can fit the 16 slims there. But she can also wear the adult Abercrombie jeans in a 0 (which I think fit her better). Anyway, their "slims" run very slim (which is good if you have a slim child) and I find their quality to be excellent.

Thanks for all of the feedback! I am going to order a few things and see how they fit. :thumbsup2
