It's been a while since I have been on here so if you guys have discussed this topic them maybe we can merge it:)

We just came off the The Fantasy on Saturday and to our surprise our guide Daniel from our 2009 Wyoming ABD was on there promoting ABD!

This was their 4th week on the ship and they are only using the Fantasy as of now to do this. They share the DVC desk at alternate times. He was also there with Courtney another veteran ABD guide who who was an absolute delight to talk to. If we had booked onboard we would have received 10% off our ABD booking. They also did 2 presentation in The Tube on sea days that were really informative about the ABD product. Even though we are leaning toward an ABD in 2013 we did not have it in the budget on that particular cruise to be ready to part with the $600 deposit.

Scotland was announced while we were on the boat and I will tell you as much as I would love to go I am in major sticker shock with that one.

Wanted to pass this info on and wish everyone amazing travels on your next ABD!:thumbsup2

What a lucky time to be on the Fantasy! I wish they offered that when we were on the maiden voyage. 10% is big for an ABD trip.

We booked Bella Italy tour while on the Fantasythis past week.
Never been to Italy. Looked like a good way to try something new.
We sar going September2013

FYI - If you want to book a pre-cruise Adventures by Disney trip, it does not qualify for any discount because it is booked in connection with the cruise. I thought this was a very grey area. They said it has to be a land based trip. I figured since I was staying in hotels for 3 nights this should qualify, but nope. :confused3 Just thought I would share.

I would assume that's because DCL runs everything administratively for the cruise add-ons, not ABD. DCL makes all the policy decisions. I don't think ABD really has the authority to offer you a discount on those; it would have to come from DCL, I believe. Strange but true.
