ABD Backstage Magic - Summer 2010 Edition!

We are also feeling anxious about the trip. We are afraid they may not have added World of Color to the agenda yet. We made Wed nite dinner reservations at Wine Country Trattoria for their WOC package. If they add WOC to our trip - great. We will just cancel. The difficult thing about being paranoid is that they are truly out to get you. I hope this bit of tempting fate will give us all great seats for the new water show.

You might want to check out the reviews over on the Disneyland boards (if you haven't already). Ariel's Grotto is actually getting better reviews than WCT for the WOC package. We ate at WCT opening weekend and weren't pleased at all.

Just thought I'd pass that on.

I have the last meeting of my photography class tonight, so will probably not make it to chat, unless you're all still there after 9-9:30. I'm bummed since I was looking forward to "talking" with you all, but hopefully we can do another before we go.

I'm going! By some miracle, I got the time off and there was still room on the tour. Thanks Kevin for getting me in!!

I can't tell you how excited I am about this. I was on last year's Disneyland Backstage tour. That was the one where Pete got to go into Walt's apartment. (Hey Pete and Walter, looking forward to seeing you again.) That tour was great, but this one should be incredible.

Add me to the list and let me know about and other group plans. This is my first ABD trip, but I've been going to Disneyland for years (more than I care to admit).

How frustrating to have a computer that decides when you're done way before you are!

I'm the one who met my husband (he's DataTully on the Boards) at WDW. We met on the monorail while en route to the first meet of the final Mousefest. Both of us wore our yellow lanyards for the event, started up a conversation and love bloomed from there. We got married last year at Shades of Green, one year to the day we met. Of course, we're planning our anniversary trip at WDW too.

Oh no!
How did it arrive (US Mail, UPS, etc)? We are leaving for 10 days in the morning and our mail has already come today! I was hoping it would come before we left - wondering if I still have hope via another carrier!

it went very well we even got written up in Metuchen Living -
The wonderful, talented and dedicated people of Plays in the Park kicked off their 2010 season with the Musical 1776 Wednesday night. And Metuchen Living was there front and center. What a wonderful fun show it was. The set was a feast for the eyes, the costumes exquisite and the singing! Oh the singing. With shows like 1776 from Plays in the Park, there’s little reason to hop on the train to see a Broadway show. We encourage everyone to go see 1776 this summer, bring nice comfy chairs, bug repellant and prepare to be delighted! $6 to get in, popcorn not included.

I didn't get a package today!!! I will go to the post office in the morning. There are only open a couple of hours on Saturday in our small town.
My husband and I are going to Marceline this weekend. I hope to get some good pictures. Has any one been there?

I was at the last MouseFest too. It was my first one and so much fun. I liked the hidden Mickey tour and the photo one at the Tree of Life. And of course the Toy Story Mania event, that was the best.

I was at the photo tour at the Tree of Life too - it really IS a small world!

My box came by UPS 3 day shipping and arrived at my office. I hope everyone else gets their boxes soon.

I'm not sure UPS does deliver on Saturday. It would be nice if they did, especially for everyone who didn't get a box yesterday!

We probably WILL recognize each other from that great tour. I loved that tour & the photos I took during it.
