So for those of you who went before. How much of the stuff at Disneyland ( for sale) is the same as the stuff at Disney World?

Ive always wanted a plain hoodie with the old Disneyland Logo on it and nothing else.
I saw someone wearing one once and Ive always wanted one, ( Yes that is actually one of the reason's I want to go)

Im also going to the world in Feb. Just wondering how far this homoginzation has gone.

They still do have some merchandise with Disneyland on it, specifically. We were able to purchase shirts with Disneyland's 55th and of course World of Color shirts, and those are unique to DL. I also saw other merchandise that was Disneyland specific, though I had seen their nearly identical counterparts at WDW. At least they had the different park names on the shirts, depending on which park you were visiting.

I too would like to get things that are unique to Disneyland...maybe not clothes but something. Now that I think about it even most of the stuff I've bought over WDW has the 'Disney Parks' logo, other than one WDW sweatshirt (which is still my fave )
Weren't there dishes we saw online somewhere that were images from vintage DL maps? Or did I dream that? Anyone else see these?

Still no discounts for me, forced to go to WDW the only week in Feb without anything! Stoopid job getting in the way again!

I got quite a few items last time I went (back in 2005).

Next time, I'm on the hunt for an "It's a Small World" t-shirt or similar - a Dis friend has one that she got from DL in 2008 and I WANT ONE!

Today was day two back to work.....I love my job and these quiet two weeks are so productive!

I am so looking forward to this trip and the time to see all the things we have read/heard about.

We have our pre-stay booked and now we need to keep an eye on our post trip which will be DVC.

I made my husband go with me on ISM on a trip where I hurt myself (fell down went boom) and was in a wheelchair. Got the boat thingy all too ourselves! It just makes me smile and humm the song all day

I didn't see any Small World shirts last week, but maybe they'll have some by the time we go on our adventure!! I did see ones for Adventureland and Tomorrowland though.

They did have some other cute ones including those with part of the dedication speech on them. I got one because I thought that was unique.

Ouch! I hope you'll be okay and have nothing but bruises and aches to show for your tumble. Definitely not a good way to start the day!

Hopefully we're all getting our illnesses and injuries out of the way, long before we have our trip.

Just working and trying to get back in shape here. It's hard to start exercising again after being sick and pretty sedentary. Hopefully it doesn't take too long for me to perk up a bit. Paul's feeling better too.

Oooo that sounds cute! I'm always on the hunt for Disney clothing thats a little more "unusual".

I have a tshirt with this image which was done by an artist, DMIL got it for me at our city art gallery.

Yikes Nikki! That could have been nasty, but can't say I haven't done the same myself. I was more worried that someone might have seen me when I did that (luckily no one did).

Glad you are feeling better. I find it helps to ease back into a it slowly if I have been unwell, else I tend to slack off even more if I get back into it too quickly.

Nikkibell hope you're' doing better today after taking the stairs express route. Second day sometimes is the worse.

I wonder if I can get a Disney name tag like they wear in the parks on Mickey's of Glendale? Otherwise, I'm sure there will be some very cool items. If they have some cool Olszewski minitures and boxes, then I will probably need to ship stuff back.

We were on the July 25 trip. We get about 30-40 minutes to shop at Mickey's of Glendale, the store at WED. As we entered they gave us a coupon good for 40% off the most expensive item you purchase. You can't apply it to your entire order, but the prices in MoG are pretty reasonable! I hope they do that again. I can't imagine they won't since they offered it when we took this tour in 2008 and this July! I guess we should keep our fingers crossed that they don't change anything!

Thanks for the well wishes. I'm still sore, but doing well. I have a huge scrape on my arm and pain in my lower back still. Hopefully both will go soon!

Exactly 6 months from today the DH and I will be in WDW!!! In fact, by 8:17pm EST we should be checked in at Caribbean Beach and thinking about finding SaraMc and crew!

Im still kind of in shock that we are actually going. Im going to WDW in feb and its the first time my youngest child is getting to go. And then my sister and I on the podcast ABD in July.. ITs going to be 2011, the disney year!!

Really - would you have it any other way? Next - we gotta do a cruise!
