ABD Backstage Magic 4/17 - 4/22/11

Hello All,

I have managed to wrangle a 1+ day trip to the World on March 12 and 13. I am going to Daytona for Bike Week and have business in Roanoke Va on Monday the 14th. So instead of riding back home to Northern Va. on the 12th and 13th, I am slipping over to the World and staying in our DVC at Saratoga Springs for two nights.

Anyone around, I will be solo as my lovely bride is staying home visiting with her mother and sister. Just made dinner reservations at La Hacienda de San Angel for 8:00pm. Hoping to catch Illuminations after.

Haven't seen any goodies coming to my way. Maybe soon. Look forward to seeing everyone in April

Have a great time on your last minute trip! I ate at La Hacienda in October and it was really good. I also thought the view of Illuminations was pretty good, but not all tables have a view.


I haven't received my package yet either but maybe it will be waiting for me when I get home. It's pouring here today so if it does arrive, hopefully they left it in a dry spot on my porch!

I can't believe we are getting so close to our trip. Looking forward to seeing everyone very soon!

I am very excited to hear that Michael will be our guide, he was outstanding on last April's ABD. Hearing this has made my day!

I'm getting excited that the trip is approaching quickly. I have a lot to do at work before than and will be so ready for a vacation.

Yvet a weekend sounds good to me, Thursday nights are hard for me as well even though I am not a continent way like you are.

8pm eastern time. I entered the chat a couple of weeks ago and boy were the Feb ABDers talking like crazy. I was having a hard time just reading what they wrote let alone responding.

I just looked at Mike's trip report pictures from his Feb ABD trip. I hope we are as lucky as they were. They got to eat at Club 33. I think I will pass out if we get to eat there. That is the most exciting thing ever!!

Our tour guide Christian said that they TRY to get everyone into Club 33 for breakfast, but it's never guaranteed. If you DO happen to go there, just have your credit card ready cause they have lots of cool souvenirs.

I'm glad that there are people that like the idea of chatting in a weekend.

I think that a Sunday would be the most convinient day to have a chat.
And for us it's most convinient if it wouldn't start later then 3-4pm because that's already 9-10pm here
