Yes, it is good news - especially since most of the adventure days start really early, and the Starbucks in the lobby was open early. I recall one morning being at the counter before 6AM.

I also LOVED Disneyland (dare I say - more that WDW ) The close proximity of the two parks combined with the seemingly endless number of attraction in MK. Four days, and I still missed so much. Can't wait to go back!

Just remember that the time difference will be in our favor. 6am Pacific time is 9am Eastern time. On the contrary, when I visit California, I'm usually up at 4 am and ready to go - especially when Disneyland is right outside my door.

According to the Disneyland website for the days we are there, DL closes at 9 pm and DCA closes at 8 pm. We'll have to find other entertainment at 10 pm.

After reading about the numerous people who have gotten sick after Podcast 2.0 I have one request for all my fellow travelers. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stay healthy. I am working very hard to be on this trip but my immune system is very weak.

So drink your orange juice, take your vitamins, get lots of sleep and lets all arrive as healthy as we can.

I can't believe how soon this trip will be here and we will all be together.

It's a great day to be alive!

Oh my, Kevin! Sounds like what has been somewhat hitting us - minus the stomach. Zoe has been a wreck for 3 days now. Her MD says 2 more to go.

I have been sick since last Tuesday.

I have no idea what this is, but it's knocking the stuffing out of me.

At first I thought it was a head / chest cold, then I got a fever and now it's more like a stomach bug.

I feel like a one man plague.

This is the virus of the moment, hitting hard in many different places. I've been sick since the Sunday after the cruise. My best advice (which of course I am totally terrible about following) is to rest like crazy. I started to get better for a little bit after Christmas when I finally slowed down, but then relapsed when I went back to work. So sorry to hear how many people are dealing with this. It's hit Seattle just like it hit among the travelers. I actually lost weight over the holidays.

For those of you still healthy, wash your hands frequently to constantly (think Howard Hughes) for your best bet at avoiding the plague.

Looking forward to better health any minute now...

Wanted to let all of you know that I, unfortunately, have cancelled my ADB trip with you all for this February. When I planned the trip, it was toward the limit of my finances. In the Summer of 2011, I was planning to downsize to a smaller house. Well, I found a smaller house in September of 2010 that was 99% of what I was looking for, so I purchased the new house WITHOUT having sold my old house. Either a very brave or dumb move. At this point, I think it might be a combination of the two. Obviously, I am having to pay out more for housing. I do have a sale date on the old larger house for the end of January 2011. The selling price, however, is significantly lower than what I was expecting to sell the house for. Therefore, I have had to cancel my trip to California with all of you. I actually cancelled before I had a sale date because of the increased expenses in having two mortgages, but with the lower than expected sales price, I would have had to cancel anyway. I am so sorry to have cancelled and not meet all of you, but perhaps in the future, I will be able to reschedule an ABD trip. I hope you all have a great time and am sure you will have tons of Disney fun!!!!

I hope everyone feels better and kicks whatever this is going around. I have never been as sick as I was last week, ugh. Still in slow recovery but I plan on taking the advice and slowing down a bit before our trip so I'm in tip top shape for those "early" mornings.

We're almost there and I can't wait to tear up SoCal with you all.
