Easter is the next Holiday that is coming up, and I am getting some things ready for it today.

I was trapped in a road block Saturday....not fun. Found out it was a road rage incident with guns involved

J is for Jake, my nephew. He just won a short story contest--he won $200! He's 12, in the 6th grade, and it was a local contest, but he won first prize.

Kathy is my best friend's name. She is the one I travel with to celebrate our birthdays......next year (Jan.) it will be 2 weeks at WDW!

I used to always buy kiwis, but have not for a long time. Towards the ending when I used to buy them, they stayed firm, and did not ripen. But I think I will buy some this summer for a fruit salad.

L-Lemons


We have a few lemon trees, but it is now the ending of the season. I wish I squeezed a bunch, and stored them in our freezer to use now .

Maybe our fruit trees will produce this year. They are only 2 years old and had a hard winter with frost.

N is for Nephew or nephew!!

My 14 year old nephew was in a soccer game yesterday. It was the first time I got to watch him play. Of course he was awesome!!
Today my 16 year old nephew got out of school early to take me on a lunch date to Red Robin for big burgers!!!!

I have two other nephews. an 18 year old who is a senior in HS. And the 20 year old on goes to basic training in San Diego in JUne for the USMC!!

I love my nephews!!!!!!!!

Rural.....our house in WA is very rural. It is very different being here closer to everything.
