ABCs of Trip Reporting, Pt. 2-Life Can Be Crappy and Then You Move On (3/7)

That bike was meant for you! :rotfl2: Your going to be riding with the Hell's Angels before you know it.

Those sundaes look amazing. Seriously. I was ready to go into the kitchen and grab a spoon. YUM MY!!!!!!!

Another fun update.

Oh Yeah - I think someone needs to clean those rain gutters at DTD! Sheesh!

MMMMMmmmm ice cream.

The monsoon rain, I remember it well. :lmao:

I am glad Tate got a "real " nose.

I know where you went!!!!

Great job Tate.

I guess I don’t fall into that category very well, because honestly I don’t LOVE ice cream and only eat it occasionally, and I just don’t love to shop.

:faint: Really you don't like ice cream that much??? REALLY???? and don't like to shop???? REALLY???

Loved the update! And that ice cream looked YUM!!!!

Good Report Tate and 7!

So glad you found a nice CM and got so many parts and a new nose!

Great Hidden mickey spotting! :thumbsup2 Great chopper riding!

I would like to spend more time in DTD and eat at Raglan Road next trip.

Can't wait to see read the review!

I like to window shop, and say to myself, “I’d love to take that home, but man, that is money I just don’t have”. I wish the Feds would say that more often, but that’s another story for another day.

::yes:: Must....resist...piling...on....

First off, let me introduce you to Big Spud, my cousin of large proportions. I think he’s been hitting the 12 packs a little hard lately, and sure could use some gym time, but hey, they say blood is thicker than water, so I took the time to grab a photo of us and warned him that he oughtta get out a little more often and mix up the accessories some (so he could be as cool as me).

For some reason, I'm imagining Big Spud pulling off an ear and saying, "Here you go. Something to remember me by."

Inside we met a few more of the kinfolk who live around these parts. (Anyone catch that? Barry, where are you?!)

:sad2: Et tu, Liesa?

That's a cool picture, though. It's a Hidden Tate!

Ahhh, I can smell Ghiradellis right now! And I wish I was back there right now, scarfing up tantalizing treats such as we got that wonderful afternoon a year ago almost to the day!!!

Too bad you don't like ice cream. :rolleyes1

Here’s one of 7’s favorite shops, as it holds a special place in her memory of her first trip ever to WDW. Her kids were just that age when Legos hold a wonderful slice of magic in imagination. What kid from 2 to 102 wouldn’t be completely wonked out at how uberly cool this stuff is?? How do they DO that?!?

Agreed! My kids have fallen for Legos in a big way. What's not to love?

I want mussels, baby!!

Don't make me break out the gun show! Oh, you want...never mind.

The girls stumbled across a really hip joint where they could see how cool they looked on a hog. I’d say they really need to get one muy pronto- the cool just oozes.

Very nice! :rotfl:

It's the crocs that pull the whole look together. If only Peter Fonda had worn them in "Easy Rider". ;)

After a few more wanderings, and laments of the Adventurer’s Club being closed before we could check it out,

I am lamenting that too. I would've loved to have spent some time there.

Welllll, there IS a local chapter... :rolleyes1:lmao:

One sundae every few months is great- I'd rather eat a creme brulee or a SMALL piece of cheesecake.

That was a serious downpour, and if you couldn't afford a room at say the POP, you could easily have gotten a good shower right there for free.

MMMMMmmmm ice cream.

The monsoon rain, I remember it well. :lmao:

I know where you went!!!!

Great job Tate.

It didn't rain a LOT while we were there, but this was certainly one of those times! I was pretty amazed at the water coming down!

He got a whole lot more than that. Later today I want to take a picture of all his accessories he got that day, and get that number- it's important, you know, as it was one of the Master Predictor questions!!!!!

So happy to see Tate with his nose back on! And Oh yes, the Cool just oozes!:cool2:

Tate could once again stop and smell the roses with us... and the popcorn.

:faint: Really you don't like ice cream that much??? REALLY???? and don't like to shop???? REALLY???

Loved the update! And that ice cream looked YUM!!!!

I know. Sad, huh!? I do like to shop, just not spend the money. That actually stresses me out BIG TIME!

The all-important number coming right up!!

I was wondering who would find it first! I actually had to ask where that one was- it's a VERY tough one without a few hints!!

So you like my skills?? I don't know, but I"m thinking some black leather might add to the cool.

::yes:: Must....resist...piling...on....

I know. It's very difficult! I understand completely!

For some reason, I'm imagining Big Spud pulling off an ear and saying, "Here you go. Something to remember me by."

I think Tate would actually rather have the bowler. He doesn't have one of those yet!

:sad2: Et tu, Liesa?

Sorry, I just couldn't resist that one.

That's a cool picture, though. It's a Hidden Tate!

Well, at least you can appreciate SOMETHING. ;)

Too bad you don't like ice cream. :rolleyes1

I have an ice cream something about once every quarter. And usually can't finish what I order. I do like sorbet a whole lot better. I know; I"m weird!

Agreed! My kids have fallen for Legos in a big way. What's not to love?

Not much. My kids have 20 years of collecting between them- which equals enough for me to step on around 10 each night where they're left on the floor. :headache: I hate that!

Don't make me break out the gun show! Oh, you want...never mind.

Sounds like you need an ape hanger too! Julie might even break out her leather chaps to help you make that gun show more impressive. :cool2:

I am lamenting that too. I would've loved to have spent some time there.

I knew someone would give me carp for that. :rotfl2: But you gotta admit, they look guuuuuud with the shirt.

Next thing you know, they'll be taking out Yeehaw Bob or something. :sad2:

So am I!! And now that school starts today, I have a bit more free time in my day until my own classes start in 3 weeks.

K started today but the E's don't start until Monday and T not till the 22nd! So it's still nutso around here. I can't WAIT for Monday! :rotfl:

Tate did awfully well! I'm so glad he/she got the royal treatment.

I  those ornaments, it might inspire me to actually enter that store, although it will be a long long while before that happens. Hmmn, I might have to send someone on a mission before then so I can have some on my tree this year. :rotfl:

I knew at least a few of you would really like those ornaments! Those jewel tones screamed at me to take them home, but they weren't in the budget whatsoever. I did really love them though! That color theme seemed to be the choice this year as it was all over the store.

Yeah, school started yesterday for 2, today for another one, then the last 2 of us won't start until the 26th. It is TOUGH stuff getting used to an earlier rise time, the whole make a lunch routine, "where's my toothbrush", "I can't find my backpack!". etc... deal. I hate it to tell the truth, and remind myself, it is for but a season. :)

OK...shopping I can understand and good for you for having that level of fiscal discipline. But ice cream??? Great update and can't believe your trip was a whole year ago. Wow. Time flies and all that...:goodvibes

Great Update TATE!!!! You really must encourage Liesa to try Raglan Road it is AWESOME!!! I have to admit I have a hard time resisting filling one of those boxes with all your spares !!:rotfl2:I am waiting for your take on the House of Blues !!!!!

I meant to make it by and see all of those lego creations but didn't think about it while we were at DTD. Maybe next trip! Those are really great!
The girls stumbled across a really hip joint where they could see how cool they looked on a hog. I’d say they really need to get one muy pronto- the cool just oozes.
What, they didn't have any hip joints back where you got all those arms, legs, cool noses and other various and sundry tater parts??? :confused3
we had reached our destination. Would it be all that it was hyped up to be? Was it worth an evening off from the parks?? Was it worth the money that maroo had paid for this potentially stupendous gift she had given us?? Next up: A full-on review of what we thought!!
Hmm, the fartherest West End of DTD......What could it be? Ah, the suspense!!! :rolleyes1
So happy to see Tate with his nose back on! And Oh yes, the Cool just oozes!:cool2:
Are you sure that is cool that's oozing???

Surprised you didn't "greet" everyone and take the opportunity to freshen up! ;)
Tate could once again stop and smell the roses with us... and the popcorn.
The popcorn! Yes, the POPCORN!!! popcorn::
So you like my skills?? I don't know, but I"m thinking some black leather might add to the cool.
And a wooden spoon. Don't forget the wooden spoon!!! :)
Well, at least you can appreciate SOMETHING. ;)
Ouch!
I have an ice cream something about once every quarter. And usually can't finish what I order. I do like sorbet a whole lot better. I know; I"m weird!
Nope, too easy.........
Sounds like you need an ape hanger too! Julie might even break out her leather chaps to help you make that gun show more impressive. :cool2:

I can hardly believe it either!! What's even more unbelievable is that this TR is still limping along! :scared1:

Great Update TATE!!!! You really must encourage Liesa to try Raglan Road it is AWESOME!!! I have to admit I have a hard time resisting filling one of those boxes with all your spares !!:rotfl2:I am waiting for your take on the House of Blues !!!!!

OH Thanks Rosie! I definitely want to go there sometime with 7!!

Nope, it wasn't HOB we went to... keep guessing! (pssst... hint, it's on the "schedule" in the 2nd or 3rd post of the TR!)

I meant to make it by and see all of those lego creations but didn't think about it while we were at DTD. Maybe next trip! Those are really great!

Oh, too bad you missed 'em this time around! They are well worth the hike over there!!

What, they didn't have any hip joints back where you got all those arms, legs, cool noses and other various and sundry tater parts??? :confused3

Can you believe it?? They were FRESH out of hip joints. I heard they were all packed up and being stored in The Adventurer's Club. :confused3

Hmm, the fartherest West End of DTD......What could it be? Ah, the suspense!!! :rolleyes1

Pretty sure this one is easier than the questions on your game.

Are you sure that is cool that's oozing???
:rotfl2:

Absolutely positive. ::yes::

Surprised you didn't "greet" everyone and take the opportunity to freshen up! ;)

It was tempting! That ice cream eating is sticky business!

The popcorn! Yes, the POPCORN!!! popcorn::

Good for eating; good for throwing :throws popcorn at Marv:

And a wooden spoon. Don't forget the wooden spoon!!! :)

Yeah, that definitely adds to the cool factor!

Someone has to dish out a spanking now and then.

Nope, too easy.........
:rolleyes1

:hippie:

I appreciate a lot of things. Bacon, cheese, football, Julie...

Not necessarily in that order. :rolleyes1

 :scared1: :faint:

I knew you like the finer things in life!!!

So, are you telling me that Julie doesn't have a pair of good, sturdy chaps?? :confused3

OOOHOOOHH I know, I know, I know where you went. ( where's my horseshack smilie when I need him)

I know you had a juggling, swinging good time clowning around too ;)
