ABCs of Trip Reporting, Pt. 2-Life Can Be Crappy and Then You Move On (3/7)

Cue the music: ♪ ♪ ♫ "There's got to be a morning after...." ♪ ♪ ♫

Really? You're making me WORK on this TR?? I have no idea what this is from!!

he spells better than me.

to think you ate his KIN what nerve you have.

good eye my friend, i am impressed.

:thumbsup2

Tate's a sharp guy :)

I did, and enjoyed every single one!

Hey, that's a NEW game I could introduce in my next trip- actually CREATING HMs for my pix I post. Hmmmm.... I like this concept!

Did you see those reports of brain-eating amoebas in Virginia? Suddenly, I don't blame them.

Are they the kind that play mind games??

Did you keep hitting the center rail? :confused3

This wasn't the Rivers of America nor a 3 hour cruise. I am a highly trained professional.

$200 for flowers?! Is there a TV in there?

I'm telling you, it was large enough for a big screen to be in there.

And hopefully there was no chlorine or duck poo in it, either. :crazy2:

Nope, only brain eating ameobas.

You know, I had thought Tate might be a cannibal. Guess I was wrong!

Tate has many quirks; cannibalism is not on the list.

I know, you're trying to bait me into posting Homer again. Well, it's not going to work! Do your worst!

Although I do enjoy the fare at B&C.

Ok, I willl.

No, but the place I work is decidedly NOT Disney. Let's hear it for wonderful CM's! :yay:

State jobs rarely resemble Disney in any way, shape or form. (I know) But I know a lot of upper management who often resemble some of the characters.... :rolleyes1

Uncle! UNCLE!!

See, I got your arm in a Nelson pretty hard that time.

Nifty update Tate.

My condolences on your dearly departed spuds.

Let this be a lesson to you. If you see Liesa carrying a jug of Canola, you might want to hide out a while.

You have NO idea what I have to put up with, Biscuit Boy!! Most of the time she keeps me in the closet (which is NOT where I want to be); but once in a while, I sneak out and raise a bit of a rumpus aruond the house at night. Mostly I steal single socks from the dryer, and eat the last of the Doritos.

Tate is so right, the Beach Club looks so nice (: I totally would love to stay there, especially having the ability to walk to EPCOT and enjoy Stormalong Bay. And the lobby looks so nice :goodvibes

Oooo... Beaches & Cream! It does look a lot smaller than I've seen from other pictures, good thing you guys got in before a busier time. :thumbsup2 The food looks so good and I really want to try a Kitchen Sink, it looks a lot more tasty than the average Kitchen sink ;) And I can't believe that CM Maria has been working at Beaches & Cream for 22 years, wow, she must really like working there A LOT! ::yes:: And that's great she gave LeeAnn some bubbles for you guys to play with :D Very cute (:

Can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum

You know, I went over to the BC thinking I really wouldn't be so excited about staying there, but came away with feeling I could enjoy a stay there VERY much. Disney had once again proved me wrong. Now the only one on my short list of "Nah!" is CR- that one still carries ZERO appeal for me to stay at. :confused3

Beaches and Cream is really not one that made the "gotta go there every time" list, but it was fun. I'm glad we didn't have to wait long, we had other fun stuff planned!!

True, but I didn't see his post...so at least I did it without help. Now, question for you: what movie was I referencing with the lyric in my post two posts above yours???

Oh, you're making him work too.... ;)

The Poseidon Adventure...but I totally had to "research" that.

Is your basement actually dry enough for research projects??

/
never seen that one... should I?

Not necessarily, I've only seen parts of it. Ernest Borgnine, Shelly Winters....the boat capsizes (the actual boat, not Shelly Winters). But the theme song was a huge hit in in the 70's (don't tell me you weren't listening to the radio in the 70's) and won an Oscar.

Speaking of Tate O'Patty....

Somehow, the subject Mr. Potatohead came up at home about a week ago and I told the kids that originally you didn't get a plastic potato with holes for arms, eyes, etc. You only got the arms and eyes and stuff and you were supposed to use an actual potato to stick them in. They were shocked beyond belief. :rotfl2:

that was just what your mom told you so you would poke holes in the potatoes she was going to use for dinner that night, so they would cook faster.

she actually had a stockpile of potato bodys hidden in her closet to keep you none the wiser.

At least they were just potato bodies. :scared1:

and Gene Hackman....don't forget Gene Hackman.... I like the cheesy original much better than the remake the did a couple years ago.

Loved the Beaches & Cream update Liesa! I love that place, wonderful burgers and even better ice cream. We ordered the kitchen sink once. There were five of us, three of whom were teenagers who could eat an amazing amount of food and we still didn't come close to finishing it. It sure was fun trying though!

: peeks around corner :

Whew, it's safe. ;)

Mom wants me to tell y'all that her next blog post is up!! I'll warn you though, it's not an easy read. The link for said blog is the camel link on her siggie.

:runs away before getting flamed for never being around:

Ok, I'll try to be around more!

:rotfl2: Love it!

We once went around twice on Small World...on purpose....Henry's choice! While I do enjoy the ride, we were DONE by the 2nd time! This past trip we got stuck for a few minutes at the end of the "Find Donald" ride in Mexico and that is just as annoying, if not more so!

Good job to Tate on driving the boat and safely docking at the Beach Club! Too bad your Owner went with your kinfolk instead of the onion rings. ;)
