ABCs of Disney Swap ~ Voting ~ Decision on Page 3

Hi Joy!

I hadn't thought of that. My thought with having black diecut letters is that everyone can mount them accordingly to match their pages. I like the idea of the stamps but I don't know how we would choose the color for the background paper. Any thoughts?

I like the die cuts method to mount on our papers. When do we start tossing ideas out to vote on? Or has that been done already? Did I miss it?

Sign-ups and voting begin on Monday, August 15. I'll look for you then!

Can't join this swap but just wanted to share.
At the CK convention last week we did a big letter for the corner of the page. and then applied Chrystal laquar to it. Very kewl looking. We left it in the square and then painted it with a sponge brush. Let it dry and then popped it out. Looked very kewl! Gave it a nice shine!

Oooooo! Sounds pretty! Did you use a Sizzix to punch out the letter?

Honestly not sure. I think it may have been a basic grey die cut (precut) It was the new basic grey paper. Very pretty but such a weird letter W you were then suppose to write, what you don't know about me or something like that....which i didn't do. I am going to save it for a family reunion in West Virginia. But it was a big letter!

I'd like to sign up for this swap as well, but like some others I can't be online during the day because I am at work.. *sigh* any idea about what time you will post the sign ups?

basic grey does have alpha sets cause we got a B in one of my classes. you could just search online... maggie

This is an ABC of Disney swap, should be tons of fun

Can you tell I posted early this a.m.....dah it says right in the title of the swap....ABC DISNEYSwap..... :confused3 Guess I needed some coffee before posting. Sorry :flower:

You know what would be really cool, but probably too labor intensive... is embellished chipboard letters!

The Basic Grey monograms are huge... like 4 inches tall and almost as wide for some letters. The full 26 letters come on 2- 12x12 sheets, and they're packed pretty tightly on the sheet... They would be okay for 12x12 layouts but might be too overwhelming for smaller ones.

I love those Basic Grey letters! I bought the monograms at a convention last month, and I had the same thought about using it as a pattern for more letters. I also like the chipboard idea, but I agree, it might be too labor intensive.

Ok - I'm a confirmed night owl and won't be up in the morning :LOL - but it's officially the 15th! So before I go to bed:

I am up finishing a circle journal that I have to mail off tomorrow (along with all my swap stuff!).

In case I am not up and online in the morning when signups start, I do want in. I don't really care which letters -- just want in! :)

See ya on the flipside!
