ABC Rolodex for Teacher Gift

I'm going to make rolodex's for teacher gifts this year...

So, I need some help for the ABC's.. Here are my thoughts... I need some more.... and I thought I would have a little saying (almost like the "survival kits" some have done for teachers)

Leaning toward for my kdg. child

A- Apple, Arithmetic, Art, ABC's & 123's or apple or Algebra
B- Books, bus or boys or Biology
C- ChalkBoard (and make a chalk board on the rolodex card w/ the ABC going about it..., Crayons, computers, Children or Chemistry
D-division, detention, desks
E-effort, Education or Eighth Grade or English
F-following directions, Fall or Field trips or First Grade or Fourth Grade or Fifth Grade
G- Gym class (Yeah! A break!)grammar, girls & Boys, grades
H-history, health, homework, helping, Homework or Hugs , high fives
I- Inspire, Inspiration
J- jungle gym, jumping rope
K- Kids or Kindergarten
L- Lifesavers listening, loving, learning, lessons, lunch, library, lockers
M- Music, Math
N- numbers, ninth grade
O- One hundred day, office
P- projects, planning, parents, pencils, paper, playground
Q- quiet, questions
R- Recess, reading, Reading, 'riting, 'rithmatic
S- Snack time, story time, spelling, science, students, second grade, sixth grade, seventh grade
T-time quizes, tests, teamwork, teachers, third grade
U- uniforms
V- Vacation DAYS!
W- Writing
X- Teachers are eXtra Special
Y- Y- Yearning for learning or Yellow if it is a school color
Z- zipper or zoo

Isn't that the truth!

Actually, the kdg. class goes on a class field trip to the Zoo..
and maybe for W on the 5th grader, I could do Washington DC since that is their annual field trip!!!!

I didn't get to do cool field trips like that when I was in 5th Grade. DC is awesome. It's my second favorite vacation destination (behind Disney of course)

I think I'm going to utilize the ABC I listed above more for my DS to use this summer as a reader and phonics enhancement source than for the teacher appreciation... I'll try this weekend to update the list w/ the other suggestions, I think they are more TEACHER friendly..
