I wasn't in the Event Swap, so I don't have a Mickey. Even if I did, this is a stand alone book. If you have your notes from the Mickey, you should just do him again.

Well, I am did this on an old blade and an old mat, so I'm hoping a new blade and mat will solve the issues. If not, then yes, vines might be subject to change. I might make them more cascading, like the ones on the box.

I checked, and I'm the only one in Group 1 that has a topiary Mickey, so I might as well just make Mickey. There will be no "workload" related surprises, then. Also I would only have to make 12 and not 13 (I'll make another character for myself later). I just hope, I don't wear out my Mickey punch! (that's how I made the leaves, they are the small Mickey head punch, with a few tiny Mickey punches on top for layering)

Here is KatDisney's Group 1P. It was originally Pixar Play Parade, but that is the name of the parade only at DCA, not in WDW so I left the Parade off, so it is just Pixar Play. The stickers are from the EK Success strips, so everyone will be receiving a different set of characters.

I was just thinking I used a block for the Toy Story stickers, a bubble for Nemo, a flower for Bugs, and a stop sign for Cars. I thought they kinda matched.

And completely OT for this thread...I've posted pics of my scrap space when it was clean. More often than not it looks like this. Which is after working on groups the last 2 days.

I needed more space for my trimmer, so I took over DH's desk.

Hope -- those sets are great. I remember that green Mickey! I am so glad I get one. I did a million vines for a page kit and the new blade and mat worked out well. I think the vine was different than yours though.

My scraproom used to look just like yours when I had my own room! Now that it is in the dining room I am forced to clean it up and stay organized. I have discovered that not having a rug in your work space is great -- I just throw the small bits on the floor and sweep it up at the end!

Another messy scrap room here. It's so bad, that I just get exhausted every time I think about cleaning it up. They only time I get stuff done lately is if I leave the house completely for a crop. I have to do something about it soon!

I have one of those Mickey topiaries from the event swap. He's even more adorable in person! You all will him!

So, I had a dream about the trip last night (5 weeks from right now the kids and I will be airborne!!!). I was walking around the WL looking for photos to take to match the swap elements I'll be getting. I was especially keen to find topiaries, which I have never photographed, but now I will make a point to so I can use Hope's awesome stuff.

I just printed the list of topics for Group 1 to take with me. Everyone has made such nice stuff that I don't want to forget to take pictures to go with everything I possibly can.
