Thanks! We love the pirate & jungle rides, but my husband hates the aladdin ride - it was not created with glasses wearing people in mind.

I've never had an interest in going to the Disney Quest, until now. Those look like fun things to try.

You should definately go - if only for the Pirate ride. Last time my DH and I were there, we went on it 6 times!!! Tip: Go during the day - when it opens and it is pretty dead. May still have a wait since they only open 2 of the 4 pirate ships in the am, but the rest of the games/rides don't get crazy until well after 2 pm.

I love this set- I am not in this swap at all but I would love to trade something else for a set of these once we move (in the next 2 weeks). Rebecca

You're right - it is so fun. It was also the source of a lot of laughter on our last trip, as DsD-15, who HAD to be in charge of steering the ship (of course) kept abandoning the wheel because she didn't feel we were doing a good enough job with the cannons, leaving us to drift off away from all the targets. DH kept yelling at her to get back to her post! She had to walk the plank after that stunt.

The pirate game is fun. My mom gets free tickets for Christmas, so my Mom, Dad, DH and I went. We did the pirate game 4 times so that we could each take turns being the captain. I did the best job steering.

Updated to here. I've finished Q. I finished all of the Zs I could without more eyelets. I've been to ACM 3 times and stared at the empty spot. I may have to give up and use gold eylets for the rest of them. I can't afford to drive there anymore ($60 for gas today and the tank is not filled )

I hear you! I had 1/4 tank left the other day but stopped to fill up, and 3/4 tank cost me $53!! Use the stuff you have at home and save the cost of the gas.....swap supplies are expensive enough without adding fuel charges!

Here's my last one:

Q2: Disney Quest
Q is larger and the like Q from the building and map (logo below for those who haven't seen/don't remember). It's hard to see in the dark photo, but the Q is purple and the mats are blue. It does look substantially different in person. The photo mat has a teasure map with a red X brad through it (you will either get this brad, a scull/crossbones one or a treasure chest one). This is for the pirate game @ DQ (a family favorite and uses the same cannon shooters as the new Toy Story Mania ride). The Journalling box is jungle themed for the jungle cruise/rafting attraction at DQ. Finally, the paper piecing (lamp) is also a hidden pic area for the aladdin ride/game @ DQ.

I love the Disney Quest items! THis is saying a lot since I have never been in there. Your elements make me want to go see what it is about. It looks like it is a lot of fun! I am so glad I am in your group!

DBF went out last night so I was up for a while getting things cut with the Cricut.

Ever After is started. I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing for a journal box. I really want to use the cricut for that.

Naughty is mostly cut. I should be able to post a prototype tomorrow.

Under the Sea will get started tonight.

Friends will also get mostly done tonight.

He does know that I am in these swaps since he started questioning me on the cost of the last group of swaps I was in. He did see me cutting out letters for the Epcot swap when he got home though.

No, it just means you're hooked good and proper I'm really happy next week DH is on the late shift - so he doesn't get up early and wake me at 5.00 and he won't be home in the evening so i can spread things about without him moaning that the dining table is for eating on (Where did he get THAT silly idea from? )

He called me earlier (yes it is Saturday and I have been at work since 10:30 and it is now 4:30). We have been debating whether or not we go camping next weekend, but he originally was supposed to go with friends. I fessed up and told him about the Epcot swap so that he wouldn't feel guilty about leaving me at home if he went with a friend and not me. I'd love to have the house to myself to get everything thing done!

I'm working on my G elements first, as they were the ones I didn't precut after prototyping.
I did cut FOUR of my journal box cards with that upc code on them. UGH! I recut them so that all the ones for the swap are clear. Does anyone want the extras?

Need to finish cutting the bottom for the mats, then cut out the line of princesses clip art and I can start assembling.

I was going to work on all of the elements (everything is cut out and ready to assemble this weekend will we were camping) but it rained the whole time and all of my paper went limp. I couldn't even get the ATG glue to stick everything was that damp!

But now that we are home it's sunny(!) so I guess that I can work on these now...

My plan was to finish my prototypes this weekend, while I wait for Kat's supplies. Someone had other plans though, and I've been sick in bed the last two days, and tomorrow looks to be the same. Now that I'm a grownup, I hate being sick.

DSIL and DBIL were just getting over a cold when we were in Seattle. Got home, and nothing, thought I had survived. But on Wed, DH started whining. He does NOT do sick well. Especially when he has a headache, which happened here. 2 days of whimpering. Good news is that he heals quickly and when I started getting a tickle on Friday, he was already feeling better.

He did get me food, but that means we ate out, which means the dishes didn't get done and I'm running out of coffee cups for my tea.

I should be nicer to DH, when I had my tooth problem a month ago, the pain meds made me so nauseous that I tossed my cookies half hitting the bed/half hitting the floor. He did his best to clean everything up, but it would have been quite amusing to watch if I wasn't feeling so awful.
