ABC Elements: Complete

I was thinking of using blue on the edges of the cloud paper. I just started questioning myself and wondering If I chalk one of the papers do I have to chalk the others?
Sometimes I get really good ideas about chalks other times I feel really unsure about it. Usually I just do a shade darker than whatever color the paper is. Sometimes I try it out on some little scraps to see how it looks. I love chalks though. I have a lot of the little cat's eye chalks.

No. Cetainly, if you try it on one and it doesn't look the way you want it to, I wouldn't want you to do all of them.

I like the little cat's eye chalks too, but they keep falling apart. I guess I am pressing too hard.

Mine fall apart too. I guess they aren't intended for the heavy use a swap requires. Some of mine seem to need more ink. I need to see what Archiver's has and maybe get a new set or try a new brand next time I am there. I love the stickles. It adds a lot and is easier than embossing.

Kim1964 and MazdaUK's packages arrived today. And I finally opened 4ltlTink's box. Photos are fun, but everything looks so much better in person. Thanks to all for the goodies.

Here is my "P" prototype (Group 2). I haven't finished the element yet - I am trying to make a Captain Jack Sparrow with PDDU, and so far not too happy with it (so don't want to post a photo of it yet).

The P is stickled, the elements on the photomat are chalked and pop-dotted, and there are jewels on the journal box. Oh, I used CDS to weld the letters and shadow together.

I've finished O: Oh My! Z is waiting on eyelets with everything else complete. Everything is cut for Q but it needs to be assembled.

Hi everyone. I'm going to try to post my prototype for Group 2 A for Ariel. I'm having some serious camera issuses. Don't know if it's the bad cold I got or what but I seem to be having a hard time with everything. Here goes.
DisSwap015.jpg

Should I put a piece of white cardstock on the journal part on top of the green bazzill. I wasn't sure what color to use. I asked on her but nobody answer me boo hoo. Anyway let me know. I need to figure out whats going on before I post my C for Cruella. I don't know what's going on with my lighting. Anyway Ariel has some stickes and the fin has some skittles as does the file. I'm not going to glue on Ariel in case someone wants to use it seperate from the file.

I really like your prototypes. I wouldn't put white cardstock on the journal box (tail) I think it all looks really cute.

I'm not in this swap (I just sneak in to look at the pictures!! ;) ), but I love the Ariel stuff!! The Pirates stuff is awesome, too! Everything that's been posted so far is wonderful!!

I like the green j. box on the green scale fin...

I'm not in the groups ..but if I wanted to journal.. I could type it up on white paper.. or I could utilized my gel/metallic pens.. so I like it the way it is..

I love it as is! I really like the goofy Ariel face. Sorry I didn't respond to your earlier post.

I like the green for the journal box too. I know how to use my gel pens. :thumbsup2
Love the Ariel goofy face and the file folder real pretty.

Here's my last one:

Q2: Disney Quest
Q is larger and the like Q from the building and map (logo below for those who haven't seen/don't remember). It's hard to see in the dark photo, but the Q is purple and the mats are blue. It does look substantially different in person. The photo mat has a teasure map with a red X brad through it (you will either get this brad, a scull/crossbones one or a treasure chest one). This is for the pirate game @ DQ (a family favorite and uses the same cannon shooters as the new Toy Story Mania ride). The Journalling box is jungle themed for the jungle cruise/rafting attraction at DQ. Finally, the paper piecing (lamp) is also a hidden pic area for the aladdin ride/game @ DQ.

I love them! And I like Ariel's tail just green - how hard is it to find a gel pen;)

I'm so excited about this swap:banana:

Mischief Managed, your Pirate stuff looks great. I can't wait to see what you come up with for Jack!!!!

iluvmickeytown, great job on Ariel. I agree with the others that you don't need to put any other paper on the fin.

KerTggr, you got the Q for Disney Quest down perfect! Great job on the elements matching the popular rides!!!!

And, the best bit is that these are all in Group 2 so I get one of each!!!!!:cool1:

I've never had an interest in going to the Disney Quest, until now. Those look like fun things to try.

I love this set- I am not in this swap at all but I would love to trade something else for a set of these once we move (in the next 2 weeks).
