Sure, I can cut some for you. Do you want them on black paper or another color and what size? The ones on the page are cut at 2 1/2 inches which makes them 2 1/2 inches tall and 4 inches wide. No need to send paper. I haven't mailed my Surprise Swap stuff to you yet, so I can send them in that box to you.

Black is good for me and the same size as for the swap would be awesome. This way I can have one for each of my kids :) Thank you so much! I will throw a lil extra somthin somthin in your surprise box.

That is Minnie holding the little passport.

very cute! is it the cuttlebug? and did you cut minnie on white and color her in?
thanks for the pic!

Yes. She is cut & embossed using white cardstock. I colored her in with watercolor pencils & then used the waterpen to blend the colors.

thanks. i think i have that one.....i think my secret sister sent it to me......;)

:lmao: She sent so many different things she doesn't remember. That I am pretty sure your Secret Sister is blonde.

Please post your prototypes on this thread. Prototypes due July 2nd.

+Momof2DisneyKids -- Prototypes due: 2U, 2YZ, 3L, 3V

I'm checking in! My 2U prototype is already posted, because Susie did it! We are all set with that one. :thumbsup2

Checkin' In - Just got the stuff I ordered yesterday - yipee!!! I should be able to work on these this weekend

Checking in :) I haven't done much with these yet, I have paper though.

Please consider this my check in through June 15th in case I don't get back to officially say I am checking in before I leave.

I may try to take some things to work on while I am gone.

The prototype for 2U is the one I did by mistake:faint: and I am sending in for its owner.:moped:

OK, I sat down yesterday and actually *sketched* out all of my designs for this swap...Does that count as progress?:rotfl:

I am pretty pleased with some of the stuff I came up with, but I will have to go on a major cardstock buying spree...(can you believe that I am already running out of my Target Clearance Stash Extravangaza?)

I will be doing quite a bit of cricut paper piercings (mickey and friends cart) - what is everyones experience with the best paper to use? Should I just go with Bazzill (and make sure I have TONS of replacement blades)

Oh and any advice on the best optimal size to set at for the character pps...

TIA

I have better success with non-textured paper, like Worldwin -- especially on the detailed or the tiny pieces. I always buy non-textured for faces, because I prefer the faces not to be textured. I usually take a package of Jolees either with me, or I pick one up at the store to match the face color. Without it, I always get something either too gray, yellow or white.

Size -- it really depends on the piece. I never make them less than 4 inches, I think I usually do 5 inches -- but sometimes that is too big. I have done all of my cricut work for the 8x8 pages (except for the bees for pooh), for the letter S for elelents and most of O. I went through 5 blades -- not too bad. I stopped counting the hours at 14 hours.
