Progress:

All prototypes completed.

For Smackerel: Cut the 8x8, photomats, and topper mats

cut 8x8 for 2 other groups

I plan to switch over to elements to get the prototypes done.

I hope to be able to get some of the simple cutting done during the day when the kids are otherwise occupied. I think I need to allow a week per letter to get it all done in time. I hope it goes faster.

After my prototypes for both swaps are complete, I am going to make a shopping list. I think I will need a bunch of xyron re-fills!

I didn't work on the elements prototypes last night. Since DH is home, I wanted something mindless to do. I got out the cricut and the big mats and started to cut just the black from all of my 6 groups. I started around 8:30pm using 2 mats, so one was always cutting. I stopped at 1:30pm...and I am still not finished

I have all of the Xs and the tag from the X left to cut.

I am so glad I have the expression! Black definitely had the most cuts...and the letters are so time consuming. I think I will continue this way...maybe 2 more nights of cricut cuts. I am bagging and labeling everything. Once I have everything cut out then I will start to assemble.

I finished all of the cricut stuff that I can. I waiting to do the bee layers and one other thing until I actually complete the page -- stuff is just too small. I cut a whole bunch of mats too. I think I am going to complete all of my cutting for all 6 letters and then move to assembly.


How are you going to store your completed pages?

I am storing mine for the other completed page swap in an iris box. As I cut things to get them ready for complete pages I put them in the box too. You may have too many pages for just 1 box but you could use a couple. if I didn't have that I would have stored them in my 12 by 12 file box 9I use it to sort out project for crops.

Jumping in here. I order from ScrappinDeals and or Joanns. Yesterday Joanns had a coupon for 40 percent off so I ended up buying a 25 pack of the crusted doodlebug paper and I get free shipping.....so it ended up beingn half the price of LSS

I got my Bazzill at createforless.com. I like being able to buy colors in bulk. Their prices are fairly reasonable (cheaper than at LSS) and if you spend over a certain amount they offer free shipping (you know I had to order more to bump it up to that level!). Joann's online also has a decent selection, like Susie mentioned.
