AARP discount on MK tix?

We're only going to WDW one day (at the MK)... was wondering if there are any ONE day discount tickets out there? I'm assuming not given how the tickets are structured (i.e. save more money the more days you buy).

My MIL thinks she might be able to get an AARP discount or even a "teacher" discount for ONE day tix... I've looked all over the web to verify this and can't come up with anything to back that up.

So I thought I'd come here to the EXPERTS!

Any ideas?

PS: I'd really like to have this ticket issue resolved BEFORE we go so we can have tickets in hand. With only ONE day at WDW, I'd really hate to spend part of it IN LINE just for our tickets!

Epcot used to do teacher discounts for one-day tickets to Epcot ONLY, but they don't do that any more.

Military discounts exist for one-day tickets, but tickets must be purchased and picked-up on base.

AAA has many different ticket discounts, but you'll need to call your local AAA office to see what's available to you.

I'm not aware of any AARP discounts on tickets other than multi-day. If there are discounts, those would also be handled at the local level, like AAA, so you need to call your AARP chapter and see what's available.

Sorry ... but you're going to need to make a few more phone calls!

I'm a member of AARP and they don't have discounted WDW tickets that I am aware of. With 17 trips since 1997, I think I would know.
