AAO meeting/looking for a "park" companion!

I know this is going to sound very weird, but my husband will be attending the AAO annual meeting at the Convention Center on 11/15-11/18. I'm planning to go along, but as he will be most of the time at the meetings, I dread the thought of doing the parks alone.....it's just not fun! Furthermore, he is not a thrill-ride person (and I am!) so even if he does accompany me to the parks during the evening, his idea of an extreme ride is Haunted Mansion! Any other spouses of AAO attendees in a similar position? I know from attending DIS meets and meeting fellow posters on the cruise that people on this board are generally a very friendly bunch, so I thought I'd throw it out to you.

Oh how I wish we could meet up with you there! You will have a ball - Mum and I loved our time there after the cruise. Make sure you go to California Adventures - you would both love Soaring and if Aladdin is still on it is an amazing stage show.

I'm avoiding work which is why I am on the boards - mind you it is after 10pm at night so I think I am due some time off!
I can certainly vouch for you - whomever would be lucky enough to share your company would have a fantastic time. Just wish it could be me but don't think I can swing some time off work, or the cash to pay for the flights!!
