We are planning on staying before and after our cruise at WDW. We wanted to purchase the dinning plan but this can only be done if we book a package. The problem i see is we will book package for the first half before the cruise and get 4 day park hoppers but only use 2 days of tickets the other 2 days would be used after the cruise will we not be eligible to get dining this way for our second half or will I need to buy a 2 ticket package for before and after my cruise to get the dining. TIA

We are doing this same thing. We called and asked and they said that we would be able to buy the package (including MM) at the beginning and then just do dining and hotel for the second part. You can not book it this way online, but if you call and book it over the phone with them they are able to do it. Enjoy

Yes, at the moment they are testing a dining plan purchase without a package, as the other poster said.
