Need some help.

We have book to go to WDW next august 27th

How ever my DW has been informed one of her Best Friends will be Getting married on the 9th September the day before the end of the Holiday.

We cant go any later as i am not allowed during term time.

So if we try to change to a few days before does any one thing their will be a cost etc.

We have booked with virgin has anyone been through this

Is it a package with VH or flight only with VA? VH will be more flexible but its down to availabilty, all you can do is ring and ask.

What do you have booked with virgin just the flights or the complete package??

I would say that there would be an amendment fee if its a package holiday and then you will also have to pay an extra due to the date change. I am fairly sure the amendment fee is £50 each but check on virgin holidays website at the terms and conditions.

If its just flights you have booked then that would be non refundable or transferable.

You may have to pay an amendment fee (I seem to recall £35 per person) but if the price of the holiday increases, you might not have to pay that.

We changed the dates of our holiday - but via adding nights on - and that increased the price, so we didn't have to pay an amendment fee

Thanks all, yeah its a Package holiday, would just be looking to bring it forward a few days, i will get on the phone.

And i will also have to change the dates on the Travel Insurance

Ive just did this I had flight only booked with VA and managed to get the flights changed to a different date and airport. Paid amendment fee of £50 per person and also difference in costs of flight.

All depends what kind of ticket (what the booking code is) to what the rules and fees are.

In August we fly out on code X
"The third lowest level of fare class for Economy, very restricted in regards to changes, and changes will attract a fee. Non-refundable and Advance Purchase is required."

Coming home code K
"This is the lowest Premium Economy Fare. It is very restricted and non-refundable, but some changes can be made for a fee. Advance purchase is required on this fare"

Wayne flights we had flying from LHR where Class N Economy and we have changed them to GLA Class O Economy. When we made the changes I was informed that we could book our own seats but for some reason its saing not available.

I would guess either all the pre booking allocation has gone or they are having problems with the site.
