Aaaargh Snow Prediction!!

We're due to fly from Gatwick tomorrow morning at 11am and they've predicted heavy snow tonight and tomorrow - possibly up to 7 inches!

We're about a 2 hour drive from the airport so the journey will be a nightmare. Have any of you ever flown during similar conditions? I'm wondering what the flight delay is likely to be.

Jo I drove to Heathrow last night to collect DH - flight was too late to get coach back to Bristol doh!
It was about minus 3.
They were ouit heavily gritting all roads to London.
We have been told 5-6cm overnight - but it never sticks here in Bristol.
I hope your journeys ok, fingers crossed - leave as early as posisble just so you don't panick if everyone is on go slow!

Great minds and all that!! We've booked a Travelodge which is 0.9 miles from Gatwick. It's put my mind at ease considerably re getting to the airport.
