I know that people are out there that have much bigger problems then me, but I just need to scream......AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH

My hubby has been in bed since Mon with the flu, so I have been a single parent, but one that's sick husband lies around whining.

I have worked, chauvered, cooked, cleaned, washed, folded, etc...you know the norms, but I usually get help from someone in the house.

My 2 DD's have had extremely busy schedules this week as the school play is next weekend.

I get a phone call last night dd10's school is closed due to water main break, dd 14 wakes up this morning sounding like the whining lug on the couch. I go off to work in a DOWNPOUR, roads are closed, puddles are knee high (ok I exaggerated a bit there).

Sick hubby doesn't think we need to call the dr. for dd. Are you flipping kidding me? So I am now at home, ready to run her to dr. and then on to grocery shopping. Tomorrow includes volunteering at play practice, Disney planning with friend (certainly a day brightener), friends over in the evening, and then I am hosting a pickle purse party. Can I get a scream from all who read this...maybe it'll help my anxiety

Well, if it makes you feel better, I am in EXACTLY the same boat. The only thing different is I have 3 kids and not planning to host a pickle purse laughing:

DH is not a baby usually when he's sick as some DH's are . He didn't get out of bed for 5 days so I knew he was really sick. I did EVERYTHING myself for 5 days and it was really hard. Then DS3 wakes up this morning with a high fever, and I'm thinking "Here we go again"

I so hear you today. It is a SNOW day. First one in 6 years. I gave birth to 2 children, 2 ok, and take a guess how many I have in/out my house today 7 ..This is my only day off on the week, and i had SO much to do. Trying to do it all, but inpossible...

Take care, and if you feel it is necessary, bring your DD to the doctor. I would, especially as the weekend is coming..

Well I have no sick kids, but... Can I scream too.

I've got out of state family coming in for the weekend. DH also has a close freind in town for the weekend, who seems to think that they should have dinner tonight. My niece's plane lands at 11 pm, and is already showing delayed.

DDs both have scouts, birthday parties, tonight, and tommorrow. DH is to go off w/ his friend again Sunday.

This week has been so busy---Haven't even had time to clean the house. Ran errands all day yesterday---Girls being a handful, and haven't even touched their room. DH stayed up, goofing off last night---Couldn't even do a load of laundry.

I still have to go to the grocery- We don't even have milk, and haven't since yesterday morning.

Bright spot, --work was slow, so I was able to take off early.

Just back from the doctor....dd has upper respritory ( I can't spell) thingy going on. She is now on same cough syrup with codeine as hubby. It's awfully quiet here

Unfortuantely...I don't want to have another baby...so I guess this won't work for me
